Chuck Blount has been a professional journalist for more than 10 years. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Blount has worked in the sports department of the San Antonio Express-News since August 2000. Prior to that, he was a sportswriter for the Post Register in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and the Daily Iowan in Iowa City, Iowa.
Blount is a die-hard Texas Hold ‘Em enthusiast. He approaches all forms of the game of poker with the insight and passion of a sportswriter and the enthusiasm of an avid player. Blount has an intimate understanding of the game and the ability to write with the home poker player in mind.
